Kosmik Band. A spiritual music fusion of World Mantra’s, African rhythms and Latin grooves. . An experience of epic proportion, transcending culture and boundaries that brings an awakening of life to audiences around the globe.

Nanan

is a musician, teacher and environmentalist. He sees in music the opportunity to express his autobiography, his experience, his medicine, with a look towards Mother Nature and our world. It mixes in its compositions regionalism and ancestry.

Between art and craftsmanship, he is an artist and craftsman. He participates in several musical projects in Curitiba, Paraná, where he also dedicated himself to making and restoring wooden musical instruments. Bachelor of Environmental Management from the Federal University of Paraná, he has worked as a researcher in several environmental projects, and has been spreading permaculture in the capital and coast of Paraná since his return from Hawai’i, in 2011.

He was an active member of Playing For Change Brasil, working as an english teacher between 2016 and 2018 at the PFC Brasil school, founded in the Cajuru neighborhood, in Curitiba. Using music in his classes as a transformation tool.

The musician is currently part of the Kosmik Band (O&O Academy, India) as a bassist and vocalist; and also Big Time Orchestra (Brazil) as a vocalist.

“Movimento: Manifesta Sentimento” is his second album, released in 2019. Wherever the concert goes, it carries a message of peace and harmony: of ecology.

Twanguero

Spanish Latin Grammy Winner, songwriter/ guitar bender Diego Garcia, aka TWANGUERO, is one of the most active artists in the Hispanic scene. Internationally renown for his unique Latino-Twang sound, that goes from Spanish guitar, American folk, flamenco and tango, and for his impeccable fingerpicking style. He has six records so far: The Brooklyn Session (2011), Argentina Songbook (2013), Pachuco (2015), Carreteras Secundarias (2017) and Electric Sunset (2018) and won many awards, including a Spanish Music award for Carreteras Secundarias (Best World Music Record 2018) and a Latin Grammy 2013 for his work with flamenco singer Diego El Cigala.

Enzo Buono

Enzo Buono was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina and came to the United States in 1991 settling in Chicago. Quickly forming his own band, Enzo started playing in all the local clubs, opening up for artists like Peter Frampton, Tito Puente, Celia Cruz, and ending up with his first US record deal with Polygram.

In 2000, Enzo traveled to India to begin a new music adventure, recording artists such as Rajhesh Vaidhya, Venkat, Kamalakar, Saroya, Punya Srinivas, The Oneness Choir, Hariharan, Maneesh de Moor, Suresh Oberoi and Bombay Jayashri. So far, Enzo has produced more than 16 albums in India.

In 2004, Enzo became part of the Playing for Change team, serving as a music producer, recording engineer, cameraman, and photographer. Traveling the world over, Enzo has had the chance to work with artists like Bono, Manu Chao, Jackson Brown, Poncho Sanchez, America, Keb Mo, Los Lobos, Taj Mahal, Baaba Maal Tinariwen, Jeff Bridges, T-Bone Burnett and Stephen Marley; while helping to create the Playing For Change project. Enzo continues his dedication to the Playing For Change movement.

Enzo keeps touring live with Kosmik Band, as well as writing and producing songs with all the musical spices he collected from traveling around the world.

Sergio Verdinelli

He was born on December 12, 1976 and began his drum studies at the age of 10. In his adolescence he had Pepi Taveira as a teacher and later he trained in harmony and composition with Ernesto Jodos, Mono Fontana and Enrique Norris, among others. Throughout his career he has participated in a wide variety of musical projects, including rock, jazz and Argentine folklore.

Since 2002 he has led his own musical project accompanied by various musicians including Ernesto Jodos, Patricio Carposi, Mariano Otero, Juan Pablo Arredondo and Rodrigo Domínguez. He has recorded two albums: Primo (Buri, 2005) and Sicomoro (Buri, 2009).

From 2004 onwards he was a member of Luis Alberto Spinetta’s group. He accompanied Fito Páez for 3 years and was part of the Illia Kuryaki from 1991 to 1995 and 1997 to 2000. He is currently working on different projects with Pepi Taveira, Rodrigo Domínguez, Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Ernesto Jodos, Mariano Otero, Luis Natch , Hernán Merlo, Ramiro Flores, Hernán Jacinto, Diego Urbano, Patricio Carpossi and Richard Nant among others. In the last edition of the Buenos Aires Jazz Festival, in December 2009, he accompanied the prominent guitarist Steve Cárdenas. He also participated in various musical projects with musicians such as Emmanuel Horvilleur, Dante Spinetta, Guillermo Klein, Enrique Norris, Juan Carlos Baglietto, Marcelo Outfraind, Hernán Jacinto, Mariana Baraj. It was part of the last work of double bassist Hernán Merlo “Consin”, published by the prestigious Spanish label Fresh Sound.

As a teacher, he has been working since 2006 as Head of the Chair in the Jazz Technique Course at the “Manuel de Falla” Conservatory of the City of Buenos Aires. He was also part of the School of Contemporary Music of Buenos Aires. In December 2005, he received the “Clarín” Award, chosen as “Jazz Revelation Artist”. Mishcatt

the alter ego of Michelle González, is an ar6st who rose to Costa Rican fame as the singer and songwriter of the album ‘Dangerous Inten6ons’ of her former band Pa’erns, before pursuing a solo career.

She traveled to Sweden to collaborate with Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow, Britney Spears) on her debut EP, ‘Highlighter.’ With popular songs Another Dimension and Gun to the Head, Highlighter amassed more than 30 million streams and launched MishCa’ as the highest streamed ar6st in Costa Rica.

MishCatt was raised in a musical and artistic family in Costa Rica; her father an acclaimed Jazz pianist, and her mother a noted singer and artist. Mishcatt started singing in her father’s studio when she was four years old, and performing Jazz and Bossa Nova shows with him when she was fourteen.

MishCatt’s inclination towards visual arts and music started at a very young age.

Throughout the years, she connected both visual and musical worlds together, not knowing she was born with synesthesia, a perceptual condi6on of mixed senses, and sees color and shapes in each track she writes.

Her second EP, ‘The Real Pavo’ has debuted with the first single, ‘Blue Blood,’ released on November 15th. Her second single, ‘Midnight Sun,’ was released January 10th. Another collabora6on with Winnberg, it is a culmina6on of her purple period of groovy psychedelic sounds with a synth pop soul. On December 5th, 2019, MishCa’ performed in front of 58,000 people at the Avicii Tribute Concert in Stockholm, Sweden, and released a re-recorded version of Avicii’s last single, ‘Fades Away.’

She has recently signed with Snafu Records and is in the process of wri6ng her third EP with acclaimed producer Carl Falk in Sweden, set to release in 2020.

La Charo

SINGER-SONGWRITER She is the co-founder of Tonolec, an Argentine duo that has for over 15 years fused electronic music with the ancestral songs of regional indigenous communities.

MULTI-INSTRUMENTALIST The charango, the legüero drums, the Venezuelan cuarto and guitar, are among the main instruments with which she performs live and composes her songs.

She has a distinguished trajectory in the compilation and protection of songs from the indigenous communities Qom (Toba) and Mbya Guaraní, from northern Argentina and the country’s littoral region, and the Avā Guaraní from Southern Brasil.

La Charo emerges to offer us her art and a woman´s desire to spread a new sound througout her native continent.

Twanguero

El ganador del Grammy Latino español, compositor y guitarrista Diego García, alias TWANGUERO, es uno de los artistas más activos de la escena hispana. Internacionalmente conocido por su sonido único Latino-Twang, que va desde la guitarra española, el folk americano, el flamenco y el tango, y por su impecable estilo de tocar con los dedos. NANAN

Nanan es músico, profesor y ecologista. Ve en la música la oportunidad de expresar su autobiografía, su experiencia, su medicina, con una mirada hacia la Madre Naturaleza y nuestro mundo. Mezcla en sus composiciones el regionalismo y la ascendencia.

Entre el arte y la artesanía, es un artista y artesano. Participa en varios proyectos musicales en Curitiba, Paraná, donde también se dedica a la fabricación y restauración de instrumentos musicales de madera. Licenciado en Gestión Ambiental por la Universidad Federal de Paraná, ha trabajado como investigador en varios proyectos ambientales, y ha estado difundiendo la permacultura en la capital y en la costa de Paraná desde su regreso de Hawai, en 2011.

Fue miembro activo de Playing For Change Brasil, trabajando como profesor de inglés entre 2016 y 2018 en la escuela PFC Brasil, fundada en el barrio Cajuru, en Curitiba. Utilizando la música en sus clases como una herramienta de transformación.

Actualmente el músico forma parte de la Kosmik Band (Academia O&O, India) como bajista y vocalista; y también de la Big Time Orchestra (Brasil) como vocalista.

En su adolescencia tuvo como maestro a Pepi Taveira y más tarde se formó en armonía y composición con Ernesto Jodos, Mono Fontana y Enrique Norris, entre otros. Desde el 2002 lidera su propio proyecto musical acompañado por diversos músicos entre los que se encuentran Ernesto Jodos, Patricio Carposi, Mariano Otero, Juan Pablo Arredondo y Rodrigo Domínguez. Lleva grabados dos discos: Primo (Buri, 2005) y Sicomoro (Buri, 2009).

Desde 2004 en adelante fue integrante del grupo de Luis Alberto Spinetta. Acompañó a Fito Páez durante 3 años y fue parte de los Illia Kuryaki entre los años 1991 a 1995 y 1997 a 2000. Como docente se desempeña desde el año 2006 como Jefe de Cátedra en la Carrera de Tecnicatura de Jazz en el Conservatorio de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires “Manuel de Falla”. También formó parte de la Escuela de Música Contemporánea de Buenos Aires. En diciembre de 2005 recibió el Premio “Clarín” elegido como “Artista Revelación de Jazz”. Desde el año 2007 es honrado con el Endorseer de Baterías Grestch y desde el año 2000 con el de los platillos Istanbul.

MISHCATT

MishCatt, el alter ego de Michelle González, es una artista que alcanzó la fama en Costa Rica como cantante y compositora del álbum ‘Dangerous Inten6ons’ de su antigua banda Pa’erns, antes de seguir una carrera en solitario.

Viajó a Suecia para colaborar con Pontus Winnberg (Miike Snow, Britney Spears) en su EP debut, ‘Highlighter’. Con las populares canciones Another Dimension y Gun to the Head, Highlighter acumuló más de 30 millones de streams y lanzó MishCa’ como el ar6st de mayor streaming en Costa Rica.

MishCatt, se crió en una familia de músicos y artistas en Costa Rica; su padre un aclamado pianista de Jazz, y su madre una notable cantante y artista. MishCatt, comenzó a cantar en el estudio de su padre cuando tenía cuatro años, y a hacer shows de Jazz y Bossa Nova con él cuando tenía catorce años.

La inclinación de MishCatt hacia las artes visuales y la música comenzó a una edad muy temprana.

A través de los años, ella conectó ambos mundos, el visual y el musical, sin saber que nació con sinestesia, una condición perceptiva de sentidos mezclados, de color y formas en cada canción que escribe.

Su segundo EP, ‘The Real Pavo’ ha debutado con el primer single, ‘Blue Blood’, lanzado el 15 de noviembre. Su segundo sencillo, ‘Midnight Sun’, fue lanzado el 10 de enero. Otra colaboración con Winnberg, es la culminación de su período púrpura de sonidos psicodélicos con un synth pop soul. El 5 de diciembre de 2019, MishCatt’ actuó frente a 58.000 personas en el Concierto Tributo a Avicii en Estocolmo, Suecia, y lanzó una versión regrabada del último single de Avicii, ‘Fades Away’.

Recientemente ha firmado con Snafu Records y está en proceso de escribir su tercer EP con el aclamado productor Carl Falk en Suecia, cuyo lanzamiento está previsto para el año 2020.
